JESSICA KONKLE

Often intertwined with her work as an actor, Jessica has a deep passion for youth arts education. Her enthusiasm for this was fostered early in her youth, when she experienced her first professional theatre show as an audience member - a touring children’s play produced by professional theatre company, Carousel Players. This moment helped cement for Jessica that a career in the arts was possible. Jessica dream came full circle this year, when she got the opportunity to perform in Like It Or Not with the very same professional theatre company that sparked her love for the arts!

Jessica continuously finds ways to merge her work in acting with youth educational programming. Most recently, Jessica served as the Acting Instructor and Musical Theatre Summer Camp Coordinator for Studio E: School of Music & Arts, where she was in charge of designing and implementing weekly programming catered to her students and their individual skill levels/learning needs. She has experience working with children 4 – 18+ years of age.

Jessica also works part-time as an Educational Workshop Facilitator at the esteemed Shaw Festival, located in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Here, she sets up and leads workshops designed for families that offer educational programming geared towards shows in Shaw’s Festival season.
